I been pondering around this afternoon after a short working day at uni so i thought lets have a new update to keep you guys wanting more new music.

So I give you a band know locally to me who have the chance to make it to the big time if they keep it right. They go by the name Lights In The Sky from my home city York. Influenced by the likes of Radiohead they give a tranquile sound of indie pop which conveys through the brilliant voice of Ed Barlow. Overall a band that is hard not to like.

Just coming back on the road after a long search for a bassist they have recorded new tracks that are becoming such a beautiful sound that many signed artists would be proud of. Been on the scene for over two years now they are set to take back to the stage on Friday 19th February in York - a come back gig as it were and picked up where they left off picking up their fanbase and start playing the beautiful sound that they have.

Welcome!

Hiya boys and girls and welcome to my blog! This is the first of I am sure many installments about all the hot new music we all love to hear! As a huge fan of new music I am doing this as a point of interest for you to keep an eye out! I have many new bands to bring you! You will be spoilt for choice!

Today I come to you with a band who I think will be big in 2010. An electro band based in the musical city of Liverpool! Electro Pop band Soft Toy Emergency. A band who make you want to dance and jump around with catchy lyrics and have supported the likes of The Wombats, Friendly Fires and just lately supporting the amazing grindie band Hadouken! With their single Critical which was released in back in November it is the first of many amazing tracks that are to come from the amazing Soft Toy Emergency with the likes of Jen and the guys coming to a town or city near you making you want to jump, dance and best of all have a bloody good party! I seriously recommend seeing these guys live. I have seen them a good four or five times now and everytime is amazing! Happy and upbeat party people could be the way forward and Soft Toy Emergency are bringing that to us so lets hit the party!
